8 Pastel pure wool for needle felting, wet felting, craft. Hand-dyed by me, beautiful Merino wool tops, free from dirt or debris. Long staples, felts easily and nicely.
Made from Australian Merino, 100% pure wool from NSW.

Colours included in a bag are:

Some shading may occur during dyeing and can result in slightly lighter or darker patches of colour.

A bag contains approximately 80 grams of hand-dyed fibres in 8 different colours. Ideal felting wool for Waldorf & Steiner projects, or for anyone wanting lots of colours in smaller quantities.

I only stock a small amount at the time but can make more if you don't mind waiting up to 2 weeks (after dyeing the wool needs to dry well after before posting).
Happy to take custom orders and mix and match! Other colours available on request.
Larger quantities of roving or alpaca fleece also available, just ask for a custom order.

Although all care is taken to produce rovings in colours similar to the picture shown, due to the nature of the craft the artisan cannot produce two rovings that are exactly the same.
Please bear this in mind when purchasing :)

All my dyes are classified as non-toxic and are colourfast.
Care should be taken to dry garments and projects in the shade to prevent loss of colour.

Treat wool and alpaca with care. Wash in warm water with a mild wool detergent and rinse in same temperature water without agitating, as temperature changes and friction can cause felting and shrinking. Gently pat dry and hang projects and garments in the shade as colours can fade.
Some colour may be present in the wash water or during felting.

Shipping can be combined for multiple orders, however Etsy does not do that automatically and postage charges could be higher than what they will actually be.
I endeavour to combine orders into the same package as much as possible and if shipping charges are too high I will gladly refund the difference or add some extra wool (your preference).
Sometimes combined orders will have to be sent in a larger parcel due to the volume of wool (the weight could be under 450 grams but 3 large skeins don't fit in a satchel...).
If you're not sure about postage for multiple items contact me before purchase and I will find out for you.

All my skeins and rovings are hand-dyed and therefore each batch can be a little different. Colour variations can also be present on a single roving, as this is the nature of the craft and the charm of hand-dyed fibres. Although I endeavour to reproduce all colours each time, it is possible that differences may occur.
For anyone wishing to have uniform colours and no variations it might be more suitable to purchase commercially-dyed yarn or rovings.

The colour was much brighter than that on the pics, which I loved! the pastels are so gorgeous! So soft great to needle felt bear noses with, fake dreads and tiny felt toy making. As usual the seller's roving exceeded expectations. I am a convert. I will no longer buy from large retailers and this shop is an Aussie local!
